Why the name BlueTeddy?
We trialed several names before settling on BlueTeddy, one of which is WebSpark. Our trial resulted in 90% of people choosing BlueTeddy over WebSpark, we found that business is changing, people are now looking for the "new" and "creative" people to work with, anyone can blend in and play it safe, we dare to be different.
What makes the blue ted a good business name?
- We found that names that contained a colour and a thing were best remembered.
- It is easy to say and spell, this is important when stating email & website addresses over the phone.
- BlueTeddy is a little out there, whether you love it or hate it the name grabs your attention.
- The name BlueTeddy usually intrigues people enough to pick up a card or ask "what does BlueTeddy do?"
- It's unique to our industry, most web companies have techy names like; Cyber Tek, Web Orb, Web Click, Websites Online etc... we wanted to stand out and portray a simple image. Think "Apple"... simple and nothing to do with computers.
- Lastly we wanted a super cute mascot that represented our creativity and confidence to be different.
